Currently we are having some horrible issues with power at our tower sites. Our current configuration is that we have tripplite smart 500VA rackmout UPS connected to deep cycle marine battery. This seems to work OK for a month or so and then kills either the battery or the UPS or both. We then notice that the equipment at the tower will power off (battery shuts down for about 10 min) and then powers back on. This happens almost daily and in some cases multiple times in a day. I think it may have to do with the output volts of the battery not being high enough for the UPS to operate. We are desperately looking for other alternatives to what we are doing to resolve this issue. Most equipment will operate at 12/24 volt. 1x Mikrotik, 2x Trango AP, 2x Trango Link45, 4x UBNT Rocket. Any suggestions are appreciated.
