This price was quoted to me once I found out when the dates were going to be, well in advance. Some of you might know, with timeshares you get the best deals when you plan 6+ months in advance. If I wanted to go on a cruise in December let's say, the price would be totally different.
Examples of trips I've taken that have been super cheap: 3 BR condo in St. Martin Royal Islander for 7 nights, $349/wk (rack rate per NIGHT was $749) 2 BR condo in Aruba at the Divi Phoenix for 7 nights, $329/wk (rack rate per NIGHT was $449) 3 BR condo (room for 12) in Steamboat during Spring ski season, 4 nights, trade-in value was $289. I do have two timeshares though, so I usually trade in my timeshare instead. My timeshare trade-in makes it more like $150/wk (if I take into consideration what my timeshare costs and yearly maintenance).
