For the record, WISPA hired an RF Engineer to go out and triangulate the interfering signal to see where it was coming from. The results of his testing were inconclusive. Meanwhile, the FAA had an investigative team trying to locate the source as well. We have not heard back from the FAA Investigation Team manager on their findings. He supposedly went on leave shortly after the date the interference was extinguished. So, we really do not know where it was coming from nor how it was terminated. I personally made several phone calls and emails to entities outside of the WISPA membership and the WISP industry the morning the interference went away. Our outreach could have corrected the situation, the FAA investigative team could have found the source and shut it down or the TDWR system could have had a false report caused by a software glitch that was corrected when it was shut down for maintenance and then restarted 24 hours later (actually shut down so the interference source could be found easier).
