The dish is most definitely an ARC dish. ARC is the only company that puts
that pipe on the left side to mount the Rocket to.
That sucks that the factory screwed up. I am sure it was an isolated thing
though. You bought two of them, right? Was both of them FUBAR'd?

Dish looks identical to Ubnt. The feedhorn has N connectors, which is not
Ubnt style - they use SMA.

Hmm - wonder if they are made by the same subcontractor? These were sold to
us as ARCs, but this is the first time I've looked at one, we've always used
Lairds before now.

Hope it's not a sign of deteriorating quality control. I've always liked
their panels and we have used lots of them.

It will be a while before you hear anything. Company is not headed in a

That being said I have used a lot of 24" ARC dishes and have not had any
problems what so ever. I like them a lot
better than the UBNT ones.....

Bought a pair of the ARC dual-pol 5.8Ghz 2' dish antennas for use on a
ptp project the other day. When we got them on-site, it turned out that
one of the two was defectively manufactured so that the feed-horn could
only be mounted at a 45-degree angle. We had to drill and file in a new
key location to fix this problem.
In the past, we've never had a problem with ARC but this is the first
time I've bought their dishes. These come in a kit that's a real PITA to
unpack and then repack, but I guess we'll have to do that from now on if
we use these antennas again. I've emailed them photos and used their
on-line support - have not heard back.
