Does anybody know how to eliminate the 'degree' symbol at the end of the
coordinates? For example 35.176390° ..... I copy paste the lat/longs
into excel and then they get imported into Arhcer, which doesn't accept the
value if that degree symbol is there.

Scott,

Well, if you are generating this via a custom written application you can
use some KML similar to this:

<Placemark>
<name></name>
<visibility>1</visibility>
<description> </description>
<styleURL> </styleURL>
<Point>
<coordinates>--95.410800, 29.684726,0</coordinates>
</Point>
</Placemark>

Anyone know how to get Google Earth to show the placemark icon without a
label?
I want to see our customer distribution, but the labels really clutter the
map.
