So, it fails to connect via WAN even on your desk?

That would have been it, Block Management access. If it is unchecked,
then it is something else.

Where do I find Remote Management, all I find is block Management
access.
It is NOT checked to enable.

Try to use putty to ssh into router... if you cannot, then I would
say Remote Management is checked. What version OS are you running. Did you
upgrade recently? There was an issue of remote management being turned on after
an upgrade to a particular version. (will have to look up which one it was...
but 5.5.4 through .6 does not do this now.

If it is turned on (remote management) to keep from doing a field
trip, you can ask customer to plug the wan cable into the lan port if you are
bridged backed to your office... where you have a latop with 192.168.1.x in its
NIC. then you can get to 192.168.1.1 to quickly turn on the management port.
then quickly have customer put CAT5 back into WAN port. Be sure to tell
customer never to do that on there own of course, since it can put a rouge DHCP
on your network.

I do not have the same problem with other AirRouter, Bullets,
Nanobridge, or other devices.
              Help.
