IT Elite and perhaps some others have dual band sectors. They also have antennas so you can put multiple 5 GHz radios on one antenna.

Has anyone ever heard of an access point that has two different frequencies (ie. 2.4 and 5.8) and each of their antennas integrated all into a single unit? The thought process behind this being to save on tower space and load. This isn't referring to a full duplex configuration used for ptp links where one frequency transmits while the other frequency listens. This would be for PTMP between the tower and CPE units. Thanks, Sam _______________________________________________ Wireless mailing list [email protected] http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
