I often read the digest version of the list on a handheld.

It's a real PITA to have to scroll through reams of included reply text to
get to the content- could I politely ask people to edit out all but the most
relevant lines of text when replying to a message? Some of the recent
digests have been carrying about 50% junk payload due to lack of editing
included text.
