It will depend on the chip used in the AP ... Most OEMs use third party chips for the radiosection of their APs and also change these chips frequently even within the same model line. You can usually get this info from the manufacturer (OEM) but if the equipment is a few years old and the OEM has been bought out (this happens quite a bit) then you may have no luck determining the chipset... the other option is to open the AP up and take a look ....
