When someone connects to my public wireless network, I would like to
collect their MAC address & some personnel info (Name, email). I've
connected to some networks where when I would connect and open up a
webbrowser, I would be redirected to the homepage of a specified site.
Basically, I would like to mirror this setup, but direct the homepage to
a web page on my local server where I can collect this info before
allowing the client to surf the web.

I believe the concept is called a "captive gateway", but am looking for
resources on how technically to set it up. Any insight would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks!
