Hi Kranthi,

My apologies for the garbled E:Mail. It should have read:

Unfortunately most chipsets do not support PCF due to
the increased processing required to meet the timing
specifications.

We do however have a solution that might be suitable
for your application. Our freedom AP is based around
the Atheros AR5xx2 chipset and as such can offer
performance enhancing features such as frame bursting
and superpacketisation.

Frame bursting, in particular, will have a similar
performance to PCF.

(We have recently demonstrated 65 Mbit/sec data transfer
at 5.8GHz over a 1.3km link).

One other point to note, is that the AR5002 chipset is
fully configurable and hence the packet interframe timings
(DIFS/EIFS etc) can be adjusted to suit you application.

(A shorter DIFS/EIFS combined with a polling algorithm will
give you something similar to a PCF network)

Have a look at out website, and in particular the product
section:

   www.abicom.net or www.abicom-international.com

Cheers

    Dave
