Hi,
I am new to networking. I have read that ethernet is cheaper
option that Token ring. By what % is token ring expensive in a
typical case compared to ethernet implementation. Both use same amount
of wiring, don't they ?
then is it expensive to buid the NIC for Token ring (in general
principle, it seems to be simpler logic than ethernet) or is it
expensive patents or some thing else,
Thanx in advance.
