Hi, I would like to take this opportunity to tell about my open-source software project called AWLP. Unlike pebble and m0n0wall, AWLP is not a distro but software that is designed to work on top of GNU/Linux Slackware. It is written in Perl, and the installer script is written in Bash. It uses HostAP driver so it limits (unfortunately) WLAN card to 802.11b only at least for now. The latest version (v1.2) has captive portal (NoCatAuth v0.82) integrated. Since it is designed to work on latest version of Slackware (10.1), you will least likely to have hardware compatibility problems such as network card compatibility (wired ethernet). It has its pros and cons and advantages, disadvantages over other alternatives like m0n0wall and pebble.
Keep it short, AWLP or its part of it can be usefull for wireless enthusiasts in here who are interested in custom AP design.
