Hello,

I am Immanuel, Could any one pls confirm how many no of systems can be connected with single AP in 30m range of distance practically. And how about the transfer rate, Will it remain constant like 54Mbps for all the machines or it will get scattered to all the machines.

Pls do clarify, Thankyou in advance for your supports.

  Best Regards

  Immanuel

Sheela,

The utilities that come with a NIC typically have an option for
setting the card in a promiscuous mode. The firmware/hardware of the
NIC have to be configured to be
in this mode. So if you want to do this yourself, you need to know the commands
that the NIC expects.

Good luck,
