Like Alexis said, we remove support for older draft versions as the
specification moves forward. Unless it is really necessary to support the older
0xfaceb000 version (based on draft -18) per
https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16378#c11, it will probably
not be added.
An earlier request for 0xfaceb000 came in via
https://ask.wireshark.org/question/7917/which-wireshark-version-would-support-facebook-quic-ietf-version-0xfaceb000/
(14 March 2019). However, the mvfst source tree gained support for 0xfaceb001
in July 2019, so I would expect the number of users to vanish over time.
For the moment I would suggest using the 3.0 branch for 0xfaceb000 captures.
