As a different approach, I restart the packet capture and stopped the capture
when the CPU reached about 80%. The Wireshark at the time did not hang, and I
was able to save the captured traffic to a permanent file in a directory of my
choosing. However the temporary file Wireshark created was not automatically
removed after the permanent file saving. I think the Wireshark should remove
the temporary file once the permanent file was successfully saved.
