Are you sure it's *whitespace* that's causing the different results or the fact
that the actual filter being applied differs in each case?
In the top screen shot, the IP address being filtered is 10.33.90.250 while in
the bottom screen shot, the IP address being filtered is 10.33.99.250.
Incidentally, if you ever need to anonymize capture files, you might want to
check out https://www.tracewrangler.com/.
