There wasn't any change here for a very long time - except that 
Wireshark uses the old Ethereal settings if there are no "current" 
Wireshark settings available!

They may try to:
- set the capture settings so that they'll work
- press the Save button in the Edit/Preferences dialog!

If that won't help you may explain which problems occur in a detailed way.
