The tap extensions update timer is set in main.c, line 2402: gtk_timeout_add(3000, (GtkFunction)update_cb,(gpointer)NULL); The problem I see when running it on my machine with values below 1000ms is that the IO graph updates only as fast as the packet list is updated, which is about once a second.
