Ciao Developers, I recognized strange behaviour on my machine. I installed latest stable version of wireshark and I am able to capture, which is fine but as soon as start also a Browser (IE 7 and/or firefox) there is not much on going. It looks like Wireshark is blocking the interface to be used by other applications as soon as start a capture.
I am able to reproduce this fail behaviour each time, even after uninstalling/installing it again. For some reason the only thing I can see is that tcp connection (syn; syn,ack; ack) to the host of my start page is established and than blocked forever. Stopping wireshark doesn't help, I really need to restart the PC. The CPU load is very low, almost no application is blocking the machine but same time sometimes the machine can't be switched off. May be there is some conflict with drivers on my machine but I can not find. I am using ethereal/wireshark for years and it never happened before. It would be great if you could suggest some solution/help or let me know how I can help to find the root cause of this issue which still might be a bug at the software? Regards, caveman
