Hi, There have been complaints about the reassembly routines before I'm unsure if all has been fixed... There is at least http://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1722 "TCP reassembly missing payload of FIN packet, when DESEGMENT_UNTIL_FIN is set"
I think that as long as the dissectors are using the reassembly routines correctly a fix belongs in the reassembly routine. I have a capture with alot of TCP Retransmissions and all the retransmitted packages are added to the protocol reassembly, which obvious is not correct as the fragments are added more than once and out of order. The protocols in this case are COTP and RTSE. Is this a common problem? Should this be fixed in the dissectors or the reassembly routines? -- Stig Bjørlykke _______________________________________________ Wireshark-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.wireshark.org/mailman/listinfo/wireshark-dev _______________________________________________ Wireshark-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.wireshark.org/mailman/listinfo/wireshark-dev
