Subject: [Wireshark-dev] help

   Dear Sir,

I have a question. What on earth the clock frequency does the
Wireshark use for timekeeping?

For exmaple, the basic frequency of my PC is 1.8GHZ. So it's cycle is
1/1.8GHZ=0.56ns. Does it mean that Wireshark can get

   the time resolution of 0.56ns?

But why the Wireshark's time resolution is 1us? Help me, thanks a
lot!
