Any other advice ?? ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Maynard, Chris Sent: 12 November 2008 16:29 To: Developer support list for Wireshark Subject: Re: [Wireshark-dev] URGENT - lua5.1.dll / Manifest Problems You might try disabling lua by commenting out the LUA_DIR line in the config.nmake file. Are there any logs files ?? When I look at event log - it logs a fault address in libwireshark.dll and states I have a syntax error in the Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest file at line 11 I have installed the vcredist_x86.exe for MSVC 2008 but still get manifest errors . I am not familiar with manifest but wonder what would happen if I commented out mt.exe in make file ?? When I use dependency tool : - it gives me errors in sideways configuration in liba5.1.dll . I just want to add a small plug-in !! Do I need to use lib5.1.dll - or can I bypass it ?? Any help will be appreciated Thanks Patrick [snip] CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: The contents of this email are confidential and for the exclusive use of the intended recipient.
