Hi, You have create your own RPM of wireshark. Why I recommend this is because many a times RPM created on other Linux machines do not get installed. I have faced this problem as it starts complaining about missing libraries.
If you have multiple Linux machines having the same copy of Linux on which you want to install the rpm, better create one of yours. Its very easy to create RPM from the Wireshark source files. -Thanks Regards, Satish On Sat, Mar 28, 2009 at 1:23 AM, Marc Milgram < [email protected]> wrote: > > On Fri, 27 Mar 2009 10:36 -0700, "vinayak kamath" > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Is there a website when i can get the link for rpm > > > I obtain Red Hat Enterprise Linux updates through Red Hat Network > http://rhn.redhat.com > > -Marc > ___________________________________________________________________________ > Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <[email protected]> > Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev > Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev > mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe > -- Satish Chandra
