Hi All,

At present I am working in Linux platform. Here I could build executables which
can be installed in same flavor of Linux only.

But I would like to know is there any way I could build executable that could
be installed in other flavors of Linux too (such as ubuntu, suse).

I have seen --build, --host and -target options in configure file. Can I use
these options to compile for making executables for other platforms?

If I can use these options, can anyone please illustrate an example for me to
use them.

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Atdev
