Yep: I get the same error when I compile with GCC v4.4.1 (on my Fedora 11 system) if I use the -O2 option. (I normally use -O0). From the GCC documentation: `-fstrict-aliasing' <snip> The `-fstrict-aliasing' option is enabled at levels `-O2', `-O3', `-Os'. I'll see what I can do to change the icmpv6 code .... (Do you have any suggestions ?) (PS: You can, of course, temporarily use -fno-strict-aliasing). ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <wireshark-dev@wireshark.org> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:wireshark-dev-requ...@wireshark.org?subject=unsubscribe
