Hi Felix, thanks for that. It's a first step into decoding CAN messages with Wireshark. I look forward seeing that as a regular feature in some future release of Wireshark.
I'll try to have a look at it during the weekend. Michael -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Felix Obenhuber Sent: Sonntag, 6. Hi, I've submitted the SocketCAN dissector to the WS Bugzilla: ID: 4299 https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4299 It's not yet complete as described in the todos: * add a check for can.h to confgure.in * protect packet-socketcan.h with result for can.h check * verify build for non-linux platforms * tests for error frame behavior * display CAN id in source or destination column I'm not experienced with the internal WS API, thus I would glad, if someone could take a look at! Thanks for hints! Cheers, Felix ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <[email protected]> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
