Hello, I've checked case i) and it seems it doesn't exist. However, I've made a small patch which adds a get_version() LUA function to WS. If this patch (based on rev 32034) will be committed then you'll able to use it and read out the version string.
Bug 4699 - WSLUA new function to retrieve WS version https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4699 Regards, Tamas > Hi, > > I have a couple of questions about the Lua support in Wireshark: > > i) When I run a Lua script under Wireshark can I check its version? > > I'm asking this because I want to use one feature that is only > available in the development branch (1.3.3 to be) and I would > like to emit a warning when the script is executed under any > previous version. > > ii) Is there any way to handle Zlib payloads from Lua? > > tia, > jpo > -- > José Pedro Oliveira ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <[email protected]> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
