Did you specify a parameter to say you want to produce 64 bits when
calling vcvarsall.bat ?
For VC++ 2008 EE on 64 bits windows, I use :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\bin\vcvars64.bat"

Is that problem with visual studio i am using ???
