Lars,

This still seems to work for me in the latest development release, and
I don't think anything has changed in this area recently. I was
opening a certificate file and then choosing to select "Decode As ..."
ASN.1. Was this the sort of thing you were trying to do?

If you can provide some more details of what you are trying to do
and/or the file you you are trying to decode, I have another look.
