Note that, by "one of the binaries for OS X", I'm referring to the binaries
under
http://www.cmake.org/cmake/resources/software.html
rather than to third-party packages.

Does that assume you've installed Homebrew?
If so, please don't make it a requirement; I've managed to avoid installing
various package managers for OS X so far, and would prefer to continue to do so
- I prefer to avoid third-party changes, and would also not want to require
other developers on OS X to install a third-party package manager or to install
one different from the one they've chosen.
