Hello, What is the current procedure to create .deb package? Both CMake and automake return make: *** No rule to make target `debian-package'. Stop. if I try to create it according to the instruction at https://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsdg_html_chunked/ChSrcBinary.html . I got this from a college recently: 2) The whole build architecture for the Debian based systems have changed in Wireshark. Previously, I was used to build wireshark with the "make debian-package" command. Now, the INSTALL file refers to another mechanism: 10/b. If you 're running a system that supports APT (Debian/Ubuntu/etc.) run dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot in the source directory right after extracting of checking out Wireshark's source code. (You don't have to run configure/make/etc. prior to running dpkg-buildpackage) -- Pozdrawiam / Best regards MichaĆ Orynicz, Software Engineer Tieto Corporation
