Hello, I've tried to add my IEEE 802.15.4 address to this file: $ cat ~/.config/wireshark/ethers 00:12:4b:00:06:0d:97:cb a 00:12:4b:00:06:0d:84:64 b 14:15:92:cc:00:00:00:01 c 14:15:92:cc:00:00:00:02 d 14:15:92:cc:00:00:00:03 e
But I don't see MAC resolution happening. Could the reason be that IEEE 802.15.4 is not ethernet? They are EUI-64 and not EUI-48. I also got in ~/.config/wireshark/preferences: nameres.mac_name: TRUE Best regards Rémy Le mer. 17 mai 2017 à 22:04, Jaap Keuter <[email protected]> a écrit : > Hi, > > If all is well I could see the Ethers file of use here? > > https://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsug_html_chunked/ChAppFilesConfigurationSection.html > > Thanks, > Jaap > > > On 17-05-17 13:53, Remy Leone wrote: > > Hello, > > > > I would like to know if it's possible for Wireshark to have IEEE > 802.15.4 MAC > > address resolution.
