Well it was nice of you to break it ;) See https://code.wireshark.org/review/24885. I had a heck of time hunting this down. Part of the problem was that I had (capture) preferences changed (capture.real_time_update) and I'm not sure how they were changed. Not sure if the bug created before the fix had something to do with it, but I chased some red herrings [1] due to corrupted preferences that must have gotten saved doing unrelated work.
