We can revert to only requesting the link-layer types supported in monitor mode at the moment that the monitor-mode checkbox is checked (which means more dumpcap processes spawned, but that isn't as big an issue on macOS and Linux) for 4.4.1 while trying to figure out the issue. (Unfortunately in several months of the current behavior on master before 4.4.0 was released no one encountered these issues, though the iPhone Mirroring issue might require the just released iOS 18.)
