Hello

I am one of the core developers of Wireshark and let me answer your question.
Wireshark does not nor will it ever collect any kind of tracing information or
capture data or telemetry information.

The only communication that currently is coming to our servers is, when you
start the application, a query if there is a new version of the application.

All the information captured with Wireshark solely remains on the system where
Wireshark is running.

If you have further questions regarding this, feel free to ask them

Kind regards,
Roland Knall
Wireshark CoreDeveloper
