Hi, I do wonder if this somehow has to do with a corrupted personal configuration file. Therefore have a look at https://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsug_html_chunked/ChConfigurationPluginFolders.html Rename the personal configuration folder to a backup name, (e.g., ws-backup) and try starting Wireshark again. It will now setup a new personal configuration folder, with default values, that hopefully work for you.
