That would depend on what information the modem supplies to the host about the 
state of the connection.

Unless that information takes the form of packets, Wireshark won't see it, as 
the capture mechanisms it uses only deal with packets - and, for the modem, 
those packets are probably not low-level cellular radio network packets.

You're probably better off trying to find out what information the broadband 
modem logs or otherwise provides to the host.  Does the modem come with some 
utilities to run on your machine?
