Assuming you're already tailing the witango log and want to see
what's happening with IM,
edit log.xml to change <log output="console" /> to <log output="file" />
and <log events="None" /> to <log events="all" />
Then you can tail Magick.log, or whatever you choose to name it (also
in this file).
How big are the files? Maybe you're running into some other issue
with the apache environment. If so perhaps you could use mod_deflate
so gzip compatible browsers could negotiate to compress the content.

I have a number of systems that upload files to folders, make an
entry in a
db and run imagemagick.
Sometimes they work, other times they don't.
Is there a method for tracing the process or viewing a log that can
tell me
where it's getting to and why it's stopping?
