Hi Everyone,

I ran into a very weird problem with IIS on my development workstation that I finally solved (with Robert Shubert's help) that I thought might be of interest to folks in
case it ever happens to you.

My hard drive died and I needed to reinstall everything. When I was done, I found out that IIS generated errors when trying to start the default web site. It turns out
that the latest version of Skype that I had installed on my computer was using
ports 80 and 443!!! This was causing a conflict and preventing IIS from starting
the web site.

This was solved by going into Skype and clicking on Tools -> Options ->
Advanced -> Connection and unchecking the box that says:

Use Port 80 and 443 as alternatives for incoming connections.

Yeesh!! What a headache. I thought that I would save someone similar grief
if they ever have to reinstall their machine and use Skype.

Best regards,
Stefan
