Hi All,

From the tail end of the conference ;-)

There have been so many people using the Internet connections; I haven’t been able to get on till now…

What does exactly the customisable snippets?

They are opening up the xml to the snippets, All the snippets, you will be able to add you own, or change the snippets that are shipped with the Editor. Very Cool ;-)

did anyone have taken some photos of the new editor view (if it is not prohibited ;)??

I is possible, there where a bunch of cameras being used, I am sure there will be one posted

Thanks, that seems to plainly rock!

Does the server side will use compiled files it just used as a portability feature?

To everyone: We really have to get used with the 'Witango' term, they have rebranded 'tango' since severall month.

I hope the vapourware will be a great brainstorm, that doesn't become a big bazaar for these poor Witango developers!

How many people are here?

Gauthier:

I can't speak for eveyone in the conference, but I'll speak for myself. The presenters showed some incredible creativity and brilliance. Scott Cadillac's demo on using XML and Jason on intgegrating Flash were unbelievable. Also, one gentleman showed an implementation for the government of Ireland and another for the city of Seoul, South Korea.

Witango seems to be in very capable hands and there appears to be quite a future for us. An early demo was just shown of being able to compile Tango into Java. They are working on the same for .net. The main new features of Witango seem to be the preemptive multi threading and a new tag  called @email. I'm sure there is more, but that is what stood out for me. There seem to be quite a few innovations in the editor with customizable snippets and a totally new view allowing us to see the inside of our actions without having to open them all the time.

I would say you can go develop and sell in peace.

Long live Tango.... or I better say Witango or pay a fine.
