Ben:
Not so sure a nominal charge isn't in order, but releasing the conference
presentations/information after the conference does not, in our humble
opinion, negate the benefits, purpose or minimize the results of having
attended the conference. The comradery and interpersonal relationships
which were established or renewed at the conference, as discussed by
several herein, might be purpose enough to make the trip. However, one
can not trivialize the results achieved from having the opportunity to
speak to programmers and managers and share thoughts, problems and
questions with the community as a whole. This would be invaluable, and
not achievable from a CD!
