Hi Trevor,

Whether you need to access a particular TAF function or a TCF Method (in any
Scope), your challenge is the same - sending a URL Request back to the
Witango Server when the user clicks their 'Back' button.

Browser 'Back' buttons events have some unique properties and they vary from
Browser to Browser, which makes what you are asking not a simple task.

There are ways to prevent a user from going 'Back' - but capturing when they
do go 'Back' is another story. Browsers typically work with the local cache
when re-displaying a page, so the Server isn't notified - so controlling
your cache may be part of your solution.

Check out the searchable Witango-Talk Mail Archive at http://www.witango.ws
because there is a lot of information and strategy on this topic.

I know, I wasn't much help, but your answer is probably tied to why you need
this information.

Cheers....

Subject: Witango-Talk: calling a method when user clicks back button

Is there a way to get a method of a TCF (stored in USER scoped variable)
executed when a user clicks on the back button of a browser.

Regards

Trevor
