Hello Everyone,
I just received this email from a friend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To everyone in my address book
I just received the following message, did the search as directed and
there was the teddy bear with the virus. Likely it is in your computer
from my address book. Just follow the instructions and it is very easy
to remove. You may have to send the same message to people in your
address book. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The virus (called jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or McAfee
anti-virus systems. The virus sits quietly for 14 days before damaging
the system. It's sent automatically by the messenger and by the address
book, whether or not you sent e-mails to your contacts. I have checked,
found it and deleted it. It's easy to get rid of, though, and here's how:
1. Go to your Start, Find, or Search option.
2. In the files/folder option, write the name jdbgmgr.exe
3. Be sure to search your "C" drive
4. Click "Search Now" or "Find Now"
5. The virus has a teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe DO NOT OPEN IT
6. Right click and delete it. It will go to the Recycle Bin
7. go to the Recycle Bin and delete it there as well
IMPORTANT: IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS, YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN
YOUR ADDRESS BOOK SO THEY CAN ERADICATE IT IN THEIR OWN ADDRESS BOOKS.
Please take a few minutes RIGHT NOW to take care of it.
Thank you

I checked my computer and found jdbgmgr.exe not only in my computer but
on the servers and on other workstations!!
I noticed that the date of the file was different in every computer
however the size is the same (15,120).
Since this address is in my address book I will like to check with the
community first to see if anyone has heard of this virus and to please
check your systems in case you are infected. I will like to get some
confirmation of this before I go ahead and send the above email to all
persons in my address book.
Thank you,
Manuel
