Are you calling the exe with the dos shell command? I can't recall the
syntax, but I remember that you must include shell command and the
location of the comspec variable - check microsoft knowledge base on how
to run an exe in a dos window from a windows app.

Can anyone supply an example of a batch command stream the executes a
.exe
program rather than a DOS command like DIR?
I have been successful in executing a batch command stream that does a
DIR
command and bring back the result in local$resultSet, but I haven't
been
able the execute a batch command stream that runs a program called
fdfmerge.exe.
