Bingo I bet this is what I am seeing also. Not sure if I have that FTF47
installed or not how would I tell?

But here is what happens whenever I put a begin and end transaction in it
locks up the browser on the client side.

On the server side I have to restart the machine to get things rolling
again.

I was just using the transaction for something as simple as locking the
record so I could grab a max value after an insert.

I bet it is the problem I am having.
