Some email servers wont accept email from senders without a fully qualified domain
name. The objective is to prevent spam.

We have a similar application that sends about 1500 emails at a time, but in our case
we send 1500 single messages, each message has only one recipient - we're using a for
loop action to personalize the mail.

Look at the message source to see if you have your outgoing mail configured
approprietly

Hello all,

We have been using the SMTP service that comes with IIS on a Win2k server to
send mail from the Witango server. I'm guessing the server might be
averaging 100 messages per day, no more than 200. If you count the number
of recipients per message, we might be looking at 500 recipients.

It has been failing to send messages to some domains. We had a Microsoft
"expert" come in and he told us that the SMTP service can't handle the load.

Does this make sense?

Thanks,

John Shaw
