I use Eudora as well, and after getting many clients to move from Outlook
to Eudora can safely say that Eudora saves a lot of people much hassle when
it comes to auto-starting worms that affect Outlook only.
I have a had a couple of crashes which may have been related to Eudora, but
in both cases, it was because I had many other progs open at the same time.
Maybe you're running into memory probs, Stefan.
The only thing it doesn't have that I would like is a bounce feature that I
have used in Mac OS X mail prog. Occasionally that would be good for
getting off a list (as I have way too many domains that I receive mail from).
Apart from that Eudora's fast, reliable, easy to use, imports mail properly
from other browsers (I've done it from Outlook and Netscape with 100%
success in all cases), and is very powerful.
Only prob that I have come across is that I wanted to move all my Mail to
Mac OS 9.2 and, while it imports mail from other email progs without a
problem, as far as I can see, it doesn't allow a straight transfer of the
mail files from the PC to the Mac. Now I'm looking into transferring it to
the Mac OS X since I also run that on my Powerbook and hope that the file
formats are the same.
Anyone had any experience with that?
