I had a bit more of a look.
Certain things I was able to do, others where just based on circumstance
To quote some of my colleagues
"Thats been around since the start of PERL"
And
"If you program like that you are asking for trouble"
More often people will code correctly .. maybe its a best practices issue
rather than a full blown baten down the hatches exploit
Better to know about these things than have them hit your server hard.
