I use to use NOF for all of my quick web page design and for large site
management you can't go past it for a low-cost site management tool - and
it does some pretty good web page stuff built-in (which Dreamweaver took a
while to catch up on) and I found that you can integrate most things quite
nicely into NOF if you know how to use it properly, and it will even manage
all of the objects for you (backup, links, uploads etc.)

However, I have progressively moved more and more of my stuff to template
html snippets that I use to reference from within Tango. I don't get the
site management tools, but a lot of my sites were getting too large for NOF
to handle (ie 20Mb+ NOF files were common) and as I have always ended up
hand-coding a lot of my main pages, even on NOF site, I end up with better
coding for all of the site.

I would say use NOF for quick layout development (wait until the client has
finished can changing their minds), re-code properly by hand, and then port
the html/javascript code across to html templates/snippets (tmls) which are
referenced from tango.

having said that, I haven't used NOF MX yet - does anyone use version 7
yet, and if so, does it give more control over coding and provide MX tags etc.
